According to statistics, moving ranks even higher than getting a divorce. I am finding myself in the unfortunate predicament of moving my stuff even though I'm technically not moving anywhere. That's because when I left Sydney and I took the bare minimum with me.
My stuff has been sitting in storage for well over two years now and I have to move it from Sydney to Brisbane, which means organising for removalist to rock up at the storage facility to collect my stuff while simultaneously getting my butt down there at the same time to meet them. There should be an easy way to do this like giving them my padlock key and saying, "Here bring me my stuff!"
They should make it a law, that whereever you have lived for over a year you are entitled to have a plot of land/storage facility to keep your stuff there just in case you visit or return. For people like me, it'll make life so much easier.
I'll have shed in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Shizuoka and Hong Kong.
Or perhaps after I graduated from uni I really should have adopted a family in Mongolia.
Anyway, people in Sydney if you are reading I'm looking at Dec 6 or thereabouts and planning to spend 3-4 days there. I've just consulted the Ashes schedule and it's test match free that week. Tomorrow I'm going to the souvenir shop to buy an OZ summer of cricket t-shirt during my lunch hour from my TEFL course. I know. I'm sad sad individual and need help.
6 more days to go... and it's coin tossin' for the Vulture St end at the Gabba.

Yes. The peeps at couchsurfing.com need to make some kind of sister website for our kind. Maybe Atticsurfing.com or timesharecapsule.com
Seconded. But in my case its called my mothers house. What used to be my and my brothers rooms, and what was once known as the loft, has been crammed with my crap for the last two years plus.
Hey, you need a hand with the removalist meeting or something? I could probably pass for a W.Fong, I reckon.
Thanks for the offer Usotski. I'll be coming down to pack more stuff in boxes before the removalist arrive anyway.
But you can accompany me to BIG breakfast/lunch/dinner during the time I'm there.
