So, my brother's domestic helper is staying with me for about a week while he and HL are away on a trip to the US. HL has given her a run down of what she should be helping me with, but I think by the time they return I would've corrupted her work habits. Take for instance the answers I gave her to some of her queries.
"Oh, get up whenever you want. I'll be going for a run, come back, in the shower and out the door by 9.15!"
"It's okay, don't worry about breakfast. I get it myself if I want something. You don't have to cook for me. Really!"
"The ironing is in the basket but no hurry. Just iron if you want to."
"Don't do the laundry. I'll do it at the end of the week."
"You can do the floors and bathrooms everyday but you don't really have to. The dusting? Every second day will do."
"Just relax. If you're bored, feel free to read any books from my bookshelf!"
I'm thinking I should make my bed tomorrow morning. I already feel bad that she washed the dishes for me. And this is why I should never become my own boss. I just want to be the creative director.
Day 3 - Running
The alarm went off. I hit the snooze button. Then HL rang me. "You're not in the gym?!" My excuse - I went to bed late. I did, however, walk up all the stairs in the subway instead of using the escalators. The guilt is me eating away. Tomorrow is another day.
