Thud

A pair was purchased this evening. adidas Boreal Tr. Low-key running trail shoes. I can even go off-road if I want to. They are grey/aluminum. It's been a while since I've owned a pair of running shoes. If you could name a pair of running shoes what would you call it? Mine would be called "Thud" for obvious reasons.

The sales guy tried to flog me a pair of Nikes. No thanks. Nike has this image of being hard core. I'm nowhere near hard core. I'm just dipping my feet to test the speed of the treadmill. A pair of running pants were also purchased. I didn't know they made pants for running. They are suppose to let my legs breathe. I just hope I can breathe.

Tomorrow morning, 8.00 am I'm meeting my running buddy, HL (my sister-in-law) and we are going to the gym first and if it's not raining we may even hit the road. HL said that if we can do this continuously do this for a month we should celebrate by going to a buffet! Yeah, that's what I like to hear. At least my jeans will be looser by then. On the weekdays, the plan is to run at 7 am. My body clock is going to get a big shock.
