paper and cabbage

Stationery
I recieved some Smythson writing paper and envelopes in the post today from my sister. Fifty sheets of watermarked writing paper with envelopes, white laid. It came in two Nile blue boxes tied up with ribbons. My theory - anything that comes in a box tied up with a ribbon is tops! No one goes to the trouble anymore. Is stationery a girl thing? Or is it just my obssession with paper? Ever been to a paper shop? There is one in Ginza Ito-Ya- one of the best ones around. I can spend hours in a paper shop looking and touching paper. I've even tried making my own paper once but it was so thick the paper sponged the ink and I was left with a blotchy written letter.

Random hypothetical situation: owning a shop selling second-hand books serving coffee on the first floor and selling paper serving tea on the second floor.
Music
Why Aimee, why? A Christmas album! All that talent and you sing Christmas tunes.
