I'm wearing new five-toed socks sent to me by one of my former students for Christmas. Mind you they are not the boring grey school ones pictured on the right. My toes are beige and the rest of the sock is pink with white sakura all over them. Today I'm wearing them with my brown birksenstock sandals because I believe (in my world) I'm a trend setter and it will catch on. As always, I might be way ahead of myself here. I know the rule about socks and sandals but I think five-toed socks are an exception.
With the empowerment of these socks I also feel like I belong on the muppet show. Not as a special guest star but as a muppet. Some poor muppet has been amputated and their feet have been stitched onto the ends of my leg. All I need is a furry outfit and bulging eyes. It's too bad kids today don't appreciate the muppets as much as my generation did. I blame it on computers and having the imagination sucked out from interaction with machines that will think for them. By the way, do you own a pair of red socks?

Good luck with the trend setting! Not sure i would try it, but points for effort for you! And yes, red socks are nesicary, I own 2 pairs in fact, one just plain red and the other red and pink and violet stripped...everyone needs red socks, just like red shoes!
