I was told someone else was looking after the budget and I didn't have to deal with figures, formulas and spreadsheets. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Guess who is now overseeing the budget for the Conference? Now if they will only give me power to write the cheques...

Wow, you have to do budget stuff as well? They're lucky to have someone so smart on board, W! I'm useless when it comes to financial stuff - that's why I pretend to know something about English!
HA! I pretend to know a little bit about everything but really I know nothing. I pretend to know nothing and yet why do I project that I do know something? It's all very odd. I must be crap at acting.
My sister said because they now know I'm capable just by doing what I was hired to do, they will throw stuff at me left right and center. Great!
And, I maintain I'm not a smart person, I just like to do the best I am capable of doing because I despise people who are slack and incompetent. I think it's genetic.
The Prof. keeps asking me if I want to stay for good. I said it was open for negotiation $$$.
Today she actually suggested we cut the translation budget so that I can stay an extra three weeks.
I will need to move to be closer to the uni. At the moment, I'm doing a 2 hour commute, 4 modes of transport- going one way when I need to travel to the university. Working from home does have its perks and I don't know if I'm willing to give that up.
