I've just been introduced to Facebook and it's so much fun provided you can actually log onto it. I was invited by three friends of mine who were already members ages ago but never did anything about it. It took me awhile to work out what was going on there's so much to do. There are walls to write on and gifts to receive and give. I'm not sure what the deal is with this but it's virtual and Betty gave me cheese. The most fun of all is you can map out all the places you've ever travelled been. To date, I've been to about 140 places (I went a bit anal and zooming into the cities where I have lived and pinning suburbia as well). It has also made me realise that there are still so many places I have yet to go to and continents I have yet to step foot on.
There are all these other applications you can download but I haven't looked into them yet. There is probably more virtual reality involved. The uploading photo thing is probably the easiest one I've used. It's ever better than Photobucket.
Facebook is quite easy to set up because it imports all your email contacts and you're able to find people automatically. There is also newsfeeds about your friends. It really does bring people together especially if you've travelled and met people or living overseas. I've now been able to contact people that I never hear from via the blog, email or once in a blue moon.
Facebook will be replacing MSN Messenger but I don't know if it can replace my blog. There are too many ads on the webpage.
Q: Has anyone actually gone to the trouble of dropping in the album covers of all the music on their Itunes? I confess that I have and yes, I know I have issues.

Interrrrrrresting. I've been thinking about Facebook recently and have decided against it due to the volume of personal information that you are required to give.
Hence, you are not not not allowed to kill this blog. Facebook is a phase that people are enjoying; without giving much thought to the very blatant sasquatch-sized digital footprints they are leaving behind. Do I really want a potential employer to look me up on Facebook to see what I write and what my friends write about me? Nope, don't think so.
Oh yes, and the album covers thing? I did that too. But there's an easy way to do it coz you can just click on the Get Album Artwork option and it retrieved covers for everything it possibly could.
Don't worry, this blog isn't going anywhere. I would never kill this blog without consulting you first because as you may recall, you are the one who inspired me to start one in the first place.
Re Facebook: In terms of privacy. I'm treating Facebook as a medium for sending SMS messages on the cheap. Although, I'm not happy about the fact they require my full name and not an alias because there is only one me I've discovered after doing a search of my name. I'm more worried about potential employers reading my blog than what they might read about me on Facebook. Perhaps I put too much faith in my friends not to write anything defamatory about me.
There are also options to hide or delete things.
Album covers: Glad to hear it. I know about the Get Album Artwork option but it doesn't always work particularly for J-pop and soundtracks and most albums I own. Maybe I own too much obscure music?
