I finally made it inside the Royal Palace. There were some pretty amazingly decorated rooms in there. My favourite room was the Baroque style Gasparini Room. It felt like a small creature and looking up at a huge wedding cake. I'd never seen anything like it before. Everything was three dimensional. The other rooms was the Porcelain room not because it contained porcelain but all the fixtures were made of porcelain. You wouldn't want to be throwing a footy inside that room. There was also the Tesoros de Fuego exhibition. Did you know Madrid was well known for gunsmithing? If I had a pistol and rifle (did they call them rifles back then?) hell, I would go hunting as well just so that I could flaunt my beautiful weapon of minute destruction in public. Can you imagine a trigger with silver lace trim engraving? It was the latest fashion.
