Windmills galore

Honestly, if I could live anywhere with structural integrity it would have to be a toss between a windmill and a lighthouse. I'm kinda nudging more towards a windmill after seeing some glorious windmills in La Mancha. That's right, the very windmills that Cervantes wrote about in Don Quixote that Don imagined to be giants. Also, I've just experienced a spot of illumination (doesn't happen very often). The expression "they might be giants" is a concept derived from Don fighting the windmills, which is also the name of the band I've been listening to all these years (and yes they were the band that sang the Malcom in the Middle). Wow! It's like connect the dots or playing six degrees of separation.

Let's get back to my imaginary windmill abode. The first floor will be the bakery. Obviously, with all that flour you would be silly not to open a bakery. On second thoughts, that would require extremely early mornings. How about using the sails to generate electricity for my house? Very environmentally friendly and all I really need are lights and a fridge. The second floor will be the living room housing my books and the top floor of course will be the sleeping quarters. Anyone want to be my windmill neighbour?

Along the highway you can see the modern day windmills generating electricity. Not as pretty as the older ones. I think the ones we saw today are about 500 years old. There were not in operation of course. What a shame.
