Angel food cake

Saturday has become baking day in the Fong household. Last week a super moist chocolate cake was baked. Although resembling a giant muffin due to the absence of baking paper, it was fantastic. This week I found a recipe for Angel food cake - it's very similar to the Angel cake you buy from Maxim's but of course ours was the smaller homebaked version. You will note that it looks a bit naked because it's not covered in cream. The cream was overwhipped and turned into whipped butter - the point of no return. Next week we are baking a ginger spice cake.
