Pressure

I'm being pressured by family members to rejoin facebook. Today, my cousin, who has not spoken to me for well over 24 months, called me to tell me my other cousin gave birth to a daughter - a month ago! She said she was not able to contact me because I disappeared from facebook.
My cousin, who gave birth, who got my number from my other cousin called me to invite me to the one-month old birthday lunch. Well it was nice to talk to her after all this time.

I now have to reconsider rejoining facebook for fear of not being up-to-date with family news. Poop.
