Blogging for the blind

Well, the MM is up and running. After a frantic search for a VGA cable (you have no idea what electronic shops sell here) I rushed home and plugged it straight into the machinery. Now what? I turned the TV on and tried to find the channel for the computer. Reference to the TV manual was necessary. When I finally found it the MM was asking me to "discover" the mouse and all the instructions were on the screen. It was as simple as flicking a switch. Same for the keyboard. Next on the agenda was setting up internet access. Where is the internet connection icon? To the MM manual. Go to the network and find the 'Airport'. There was not a great deal there. Then I clicked onto Safari (the equivalent to IE/Firefox) and WaLah! "You are not connected to the internet". Do you want assistance to connect? Hell yes! Within seconds it found my wireless router and after a couple of more clicks I was connected!
It's all going well and the screen is a 22 inch screen! The font size is as big about a size 20. Good for the blind like me! Anyway, I'm going to "feel" my way around the desktop so that I know where to save files, retrieve them and create documents. Computing may never be the same again.
