fish missing
I'm missing a cardinal tetra. It's nowhere to be found. I've searched high and low and in between the mossy areas but I can't locate a carcass. Perhaps it was my experiment not to feed the fish twice a day and reduce it to only one feed. Are they capable of picking on a small fella and deciding that he was going to be their next meal? I really don't want to know. My fish population have depleted somewhat. The remaining fish have developed beer guts. Nigel is still alive but I fear for his life as he is one of the smaller fish in the tank. This fish owner is troubled.

What I learnt about tending fish :
- you should feed them a maximum of once a day. I actually feed Bruce once every 2-3 days and he's very very happy.
- the tank needs to be cleaned once a week.
- if there are missing bodies then someone you live with is fishing them out and flushing them away behind your back (hopefully once they are already dead).
- you can't put as many fish as you think into a small tank. Maybe they have personal space issues.
Another fish went missing! No one has touched the tank. I swear!
I figured with the number of fish swimming in the tank at the fish shop, they wouldn't have any personal space issues but I am mixing three different species. I have pinpointed a bully in the tank and keeping a very close eye on him.
My tank is very clean and I have a filter so I'm changing only about 1/3 of the water every week.
