I watched the third instalment with my brother this afternoon. My sister-in-law did not join us because she has serious obessesive compulsiveness issues. She said that she feels uncomfortable at the sight of all the dirty faces onscreen. I mean, c'mon they're pirates! They are meant to be filthy! This woman mops the floor as soon as she comes home from work.
By the way, if you are going to watch the movie, you have to finish watching until the credits roll right to the end for the last tid-bit of "what happens 10 years later". Most people leave the cinema and miss out. Was it worth the 12 minutes wait? Well not really but I wanted to get my money's worth.

i wonder whether singapore tourism board had a share in the film to have chow yun fatt mention singapore in the movie?? hopefully it helps to create some kind of awareness in the americans to stop thinking that the island is actually a place in china.
I didn't see any thanks and acknowledgement to the STB when the credits rolled. Did Singapore really have a history of pirates? If so, I have new found respect for your island state.
haha...there have been piracy attacks for past few years; they are found along straits of malacca and indonesian waters. it's close enuff so we're also affected too.
